Work is boring and I guess it's a small price to pay for the shit load of money I make doing it. I guess I'm happy for now. I bought us a Wii and accessories and games for Christmas and Im going on my trip to LA in February/March. Doesnt really get any better than that. For now.

And JUST when I get everything I wanted, I get TOO MUCH, its just too much for me to handle and I don't want it. I don't want a car, I don't want to have to handle a house by myself for months at a time, I don't want to have to deal with everything on my own. I just want to work, play online, shop and swim in my god damned pool.

So why the FUCK cant I have that.

I can't even enjoy my first fucking paid vacation.

I can't even enjoy my birthday.

Fuck this shit.

I know people hardly ever stick to them, but I think it's fun to set challenges and see how much will power you have.
So the challenge is this, set three new years resolutions, two that are personal and one that you will do for someone else.
See how long you can keep it up.

My first resolution is to get that job I want, not the part time, minimum wage crap I get at Sears. I want an office job, permanent, with benefits and all that junk. I want real money.

My second is that I want to go on a trip, I want to go somewhere and stay there for more than a day. I wanna see things and people and take pictures and have fun. Alone or not.

My final resolution, which is something for someone else is this. I want to volunteer at all sorts of events ths year, so I'm going to my Volunteer center and sign up as soon as I can. Its fun, you meet people and it's something to do besides stare at a computer all weekend.

Happy New Year!

So I'm looking for a new job. I hate my job at Sears, I'm too old and in pain to be enjoying it and we get treated really bad. Our immediate boss, the woman who hired me is really mean and yells all the time and really it seems like my best is never enough and all she can so is scarl and bitch. Fuck that I'm going to find something else then tell her and HER boss what I think of her team management skills. And that was a suggestion from my MOM. And I will do it.

So yeah, I am looking for a new job. Its not easy but I have already filled out two applications tonight and starting tomorrow I'll be contacting my old agencies. Probably going back to the government. They pay more and I work LESS LMAO

At least I am much more mature this time around, it won't be so hard dealing with the job.

Work is killing me. But it's money and thats all that matters right now.

I have something wrong with my knee still, havent been to the xray yet, but will go on Thursday since my 1 to 9:30 pm shift is changes to Thursday instead of Friday. Mom will take me. Which also means I have to call and cancell my driving class on Friday since I work in the morning and schedule it for Thursday of next week instead. Meh.

I also have a severe case of Carpal Tunnel. I have had it for years but it's flared up something nasty since I started this job, what began as occasional night numbness or when I wash my hair is now every night, all night and this past week, severe pain like someone is burning my hand and sticking needles under my fingernails. Makes me cry. Hurts so much. I have to wait until my next full day off work to go to the clinic for that. I don't want to miss work again, it's a pain in the ass. I missed a day last week cus I was feeling sick and with my physical job I couldnt afford to be ill and was lucky that my boss let me retake my lost hours on Saturday, even if it does miss me two hours. But two is better than 8.

Besides my lack of perfect health, everything seems to be fine, no real news to report. So Im going to bed.

I was off today, though I had to go to the clinic, so I went and registered this morning came home, dyed my hair, rp'ed a lil bit, watched House (OMG he kissed CUTTY, they are so having a baby together) I went back to the clinic, got checked out, have three new prescriptions (Two for my migraines, a new one and the old one and more Nazonex for my sinuses) and a requisition to get an xray of my right knee, just in case, but she said it was still bruised but that it seemed fine.

Seems like I might be working all the Saturdays for the next few weeks so I can get that xray done and I have my driving classes to finish plus the exam in November. Hopefully my boss wont mind that I wanna work saturdays instead of wednesdays., it's a few less hours, from 7 to 1, but two hours dosnt change much. Maybe I can do two days of 7 to 4 to make up for the lost two hours. I'll have to talk to her tomorrow.

I'm also still looking for a better job. Yes, this one is a stressless job, but I wasn't made to work like a horse. I dunno, I want more money and more security. Youknow? This isn't a career job.

I miss Cat, she's getting to be all Englishy with other English people in London this week. Lucky bitch. We are SO going on a trip next year..maybe.
I feel so disconnected from the world this week. Work is at fault, heh. It's friday morning, I work 2 to 9, so I can relax a bit before I have to take my bus at noon. Im not so tired right now, but OMG my job is hard. So physical, I am on my feet from 7 am to 3pm, minus about an hour (two breaks and a half hour lunch) Walking around, lugging around boxes and going up and down stairs.

But its a job and Im not gonna quit. Certainly not until I have a better offer LOL. I never expected this amount of work I do very little visual presentation and mostly just stock my section. I think I would have prefered working in the Cosmetics or Jewelry, but anyway, never know what could happen once Christmas is over. I know for a fact that they are seriously understaffed.

Anyway, thats all there is to that.

Your result for What Your Taste in Art Says About You Test...

Non-conformist, Visionary, and Independent

7 Abstract, -4 Islamic, 6 Ukiyo-e, 3 Cubist, -17 Impressionist and -15 Renaissance!

Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which exists independently of what may appear to others as visual realities. Western had been underpinned by the logic of perspective and an attempt to reproduce an illusion of visible reality. It allowed the progressive thinking artists to show a different side to the world around them. By the end of the 19th century many artists felt a need to create a 'new kind of art' which would encompass the fundamental changes taking place in technology, science and philosophy. Abstract artists created art that was diverse and reflected the social and intellectual turmoil in all areas of Western culture.

People that chose abstract art as their preferred artform tend to be visionsaries. They see things in the world around them and in people that others may miss because they look beyond what is visual only with the eye. They rely on their inner thoughts and feelings in dealing with the world around them instead of on what they are told they should think and feel. They feel freed from the tendancy to be bound by traditional thought and experiences. They look more toward their own ideas and experiences than what they are told by their religious upbringing or from scientific evidence. They tend to like to prove theories themselves instead of relying on the insight or ideas of others. They are not bound by common and mundane, but like to travel and have new experiences. They value intelligence, but they also enjoy a challenge. They can be rather argumentative when they are being forced or feel as if they are being forced to conform.

Take What Your Taste in Art Says About You Test at HelloQuizzy

I work 7 to 3 and friday I word 2 to 9, I don't work this Saturday unless I feel brave and ask my boss for a few hours since I cant go over 37 hours, but I'll have around 33, end of day Friday. I won't work sundays because I have no transportation, I dont even have busses.

Busses.

2 and a half hours.

I shit you not.

I left work at 3, got home at 5:30. It's insane!! I have to wait 45 minutes for my second bus. urgh. It's going to be Hell this winter, freezing my ass off. I couldn't even keep the job if I didnt have a ride in the morning. My first bus is at 6:30. I take two busses and the second one is a 45 minute ride.

My feet hurt.

The girl that started with me did half a day. She left, like baibai, din't even tell anyone. Just left. Idiot, leaving me with all the work. Its more proof that you cant rely on most kids these days. She was 17. Bearly educated and one of them brainless lil twitters with more interest in their immitation Baby Phat purses and cheap hair dye, than actual work.

At least my friend Dolores (girl from school who was 17-18) knew how to work, that girl had dances classes, ballet and jazz, she worked part time at Linen Chest, school full time, even worked in day camps when she had vacations. All so she could pay most of her college tuition on her own.

Some people just aren't made for hard work.

I don't care about the work, in two weeks my feet will be fine and I'll get in shape cus it's very physical. I'll work hard, stay as long as they let me, get more money, whatever it takes.

All of this means, Im hella tired and my legs hurt, so im crashing early.

Its nothing spectacular and minimum wage, but anyway, I don't know my work hours yet, I dont even know which days I work and which I have off, so since my first day is tomorrow I figure I'll know then and post my hours here. But I no longer have the time to see a doctor, unless one of my days off is during the week, we'll see. I do intend to go though, I have this grocery list of things to check out. Like some old lady, cus I hate wasting time to go, I have no family doctor so it's first come first served. At least its free. I have my migraine I want pills that wont make my head burn, make me wanna throw up and sleep for three days, my sinuses are still acting up after a year, need some help with depression which will help me to not eat my emotions and get fit so I can actually be happy and probably help me even out my emotional state, and I'm not gonna get into the whole skinny=happy debate, and my right knee is..um..squishy.

My health can go two ways from here, I know the biggest cause of my headaches is the computer, I spend too much time reading or watching shows or just staring, it hurts my eyes and gives me migraines and generally makes me feel like crap, but I am unwilling to change my habits, though I have been going outside more often with the dog, now that the weather is cooler. The second cause of my headaches is light in general, I'll be working in a department store. My tinted glasses will likely help with that, but if not I doubt they mind if I wear my sunglasses to work. All in all I'll be reducing my online time by a lot cus I just wont be home during the day, sorta like when I was in school, even maybe less cus sometimes I was on a computer at school too.

Anyway, if it is a 9 to 5 job, which is highly probable, I'll be home around 6, not online before 7 cus I have to get ready for the next day and make dinner/clean up and probably in bed by 9/10 depending on how tired I am. I'll have around 5 hours of online ness a day, cus Ill pop in in the mornings no doubt. It is still significantly less then my 13 hours+ a day I spend doing nothing online. Right now, since not much is going on rp-wise, my priority is work and sleep.

Then Ill have money.

I have debts to pay, but I'm not going to go crazy with that. I have rent to pay too. So basically my pay will vanish pretty fast, I'll have to divide it in 4 parts, debts, which include my credit card and my 2003 taxes which were put on hold cus I couldnt work for two years. Then rent, which include paying for my food, bus pass for work and the normal things I need to exist. I have to put money on the side to buy a car and I want to put money in some investments for when im old. It really doesn't leave much for anything else. Whatever is left will go into the rent box for food and clothes and junk like that. I intend to live by a strict budget, Ive no intention of ever being on welfare again.

I think Id kill myself first.

My headache is GONE.

I woke up with a migrane, you know the drill, it's been happening to me since I started my last year of school. Probably cus Im on the computer too much, or outside, light hurts my eyes. Anyway, I was told to try something and you know me, I'm not into the whole homeopathic crap cus most of the time its crap. Anyway, mom said to do it and I did.

Peppermint oil. Pure peppermint oil on the temples and basically where the pain is located and it's GONE. I just did it and I blinked realizing that about 10 minutes later the headache is gone. This is great news cus my meds would give me nasty side effects more annoying and dibilitating than the migraine itself and I really hated that. I'd be out for the goung for days, all listless and unable to think straight.

The worse I have now is a chilly head..I mean it is Peppermint, leaves your skin tingly.

So to anyone out there suffering from headaches and migraines. Buy peppermint oil, make sure it's 100% pure. Rub it where the ache is (though dont get any in your eyes, dummy) If that doesnt work, go see a doctor.
